Happiness. Everyone wants it and they think certain items including technology will bring them happiness. People think money will bring them happiness - a great, secure job, and by buying certain items like the nice car, the huge house, the latest technology. But if you look closely to the reality, you will find that real, great relationships with people with love are what matters the most. Sharing great moments with people makes you enjoy life together, and from that happiness will come from within.
In the movie "Wanderlust", the two main characters, a New York couple, George (Paul Rudd) and Linda (Jennifer Aniston) think having great jobs and money will give them the perfect life and bring them happiness. They lust for the perfect life. The same day Linda's job 'choice of the year' doesn't work out, George loses his good job he hated. They find they must move temporarily to live with his brother, who has a good job, a nice house, a nice car, and a family.
It is the great, real relationships that count in life and determine the level of enjoyment in life. The director did a wonderful job illustrating in "Wanderlust" to show that money does not actually bring you true happiness but sharing great moments with people you have great relationships with. The grade I would give this comedic movie is an A.

The Possible is Not Always Impossible
That situation is shown in the movie, "Water For Elephants," which was originally a book. Even books, like movies, can teach us lessons and ideas towards positive views of life. I admit, the book is one book I have not gotten to read so I cannot compare the book to the movie, but I heard the transition was done well. So let's go back to reviewing the film. The movie version of "Water For Elephants" does a wonderful job depicting the situation of building yourself back up from losing everything in your life.
In the movie, the main character, Jacob (Robert Pattinson) is studying to be a veterinarian in the beginning of the story. Suddenly, one day, his parents die in a car accident and he ends up losing everything along with the only family he has. Upon leaving his house and everything he once knew, he comes across a train. Though it's not just an ordinary train, but it is a circus train - and along with it his life changes for forever once again, with a major opportunity.
He starts working in the circus as a vet; most specifically working with an elephant they eventually acquire as a new main attraction show. Jacob starts falling for the owner's wife and star, Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) - whose only known the circus as her home from a young age through marriage. Marlena is afraid to make any changes in her life, but Jacob eventually convinces her otherwise.
All in all, Jacob with his positive view of making his life better again - and mission to give a better life to Marlena and one that he feels she deserves - which he achieves what he had no idea how he was going to do from the moment he lost everything. He finds his way and with a lot of hard work, builds his life back up from being stripped to nothing in life.

Raspberry and Tomato Salad
One day I wanted to make a salad for lunch, but I also was feeling very creative. I went through the fruits and vegetables in my fridge, and found some items I wanted to try in a salad. I didn't want to make it too complicated because I just wanted to make something quick to eat… and that would be healthy too.
I wanted to find some way to include them in a quick meal I created. This Raspberry and Tomato Salad is the result of that creative meal. Hope you enjoy it!

Chocolate Chip Muffins
I was craving chocolate chip muffins but wanted to try to bake them myself. I searched online trying to find a decent recipe. I came across a recipe that included brown sugar and decided to give that recipe a try. Those muffins ended up being the worst muffins - and worst item - I have ever baked my entire life. That's how terrible the recipe was. Plus I am not fond of using brown sugar at all. The recipe, needless to say, did not work for me.
After coming up without any good results for other possible recipes, I decided to take matters into my own hands and figure it out on my own, with my own "trial and error." I started using my Strawberry Cinnamon Muffin recipe as a basis. After lots of trial and error - and getting better and closer to figuring it out each time over months - I had eventually cracked the code to amazing chocolate chip muffins!
I decided to share my recipe with all of you!
I hope you enjoy the muffins as much as my friends, family, and I do! Happy baking!
