The other night I rented and watched the movie Avatar for the first time. I also am currently taking an environmental class at the moment. So as I was watching the movie, finding out the reason us, the humans, traveled to another planet/place to obtain resources, something clicked in my mind. Even though the movie is fictitious, even though it could be a long way down to that point, the reason as to why the humans were looking elsewhere could become very real, and that is sad. The reason of going to another place because we used up our resources and ruining the planet could be real if we don't take care of the Earth and use the resources in moderation now. I'm not a "tree-hugger" or whatever. It's just an interesting thought. Think about it. Just food for thought.
Until next time,
